As a Two, this reminds me that the most loving thing I can do in a relationship is to communicate clearly, which also means setting and keeping my boundaries. Another favorite is “She who is brave is free,” which reminds me as a Two to have the courage to walk towards freedom.

3. “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 - Be still is also read as “cease, let go, return.” Original is a verb that means Sink. The word used for Be Still in Hebrew is Raphah. Short definition: fail. So Fail and know that I am God… Sink and know that I am God.
Oh! Number 4 Bonus! “It is well.” If a man can lose all his children all at once and still know, while sailing over where they died, that God is good than so can I.

I love how Phil 4:12 comes before the very famous Phil 4:13. It’s not always about overcoming or changing our circumstances, it’s about abiding in Jesus through all the ups and downs. He sustains me in everything I face. In Him I find the secret of being content in any and every season of life.

This quote has been a gift to me in many seasons and helped me have permission to not stay quiet about what was true in my heart. Seeing my honesty as a path to intimacy & connection instead of simply a way I could experience disconnection and conflict has been life changing.
