Happy fall from Enneagram Life!
▪ We’re so delighted to introduce to you, Sarah as our new 7ish host! She’s a homeschool mama to four, has more than a few hobbies, and she’s already jumping right in with sharing about life and growth as a type Seven. You can come find her full introduction here.
▪ We’re also hiring for a One, a Three & a Six host! As the moderator of the page, you would be the captain of this wonderful community of your Enneagram number! Our (@enneagram.life) sister pages are community pages for each type led by someone of each type. If you’re interested in applying, you can find the application and more information here.
▪ We’re so glad to be sharing about this opportunity for you to continue to learn and grow with the tool of the Enneagram. Tyler Zach is hosting the Gospel for Enneagram Summit again this year on October 3-6, 2023, with many wonderful speakers including Brian Lee, Chuck DeGroat, and Ashton Whitmoyer-Ober. You can grab a free ticket to watch the summit live or you can get the all-access pass to watch whenever you have space, which comes with a lot of bonuses.
▪ The transition back-to-school can bring up a lot, both for those of us who are parents and for our kids themselves. If you’re looking for a great resource for understanding yourself as a parent, Enneagram Life offers some gentle, practical insight for each type in parenting (along with many of life’s other stages) that might be just the companion you need this fall.
I hope these words from it’s pages is an encouragement to all you who are navigating parenting in this season:
“We all will operate on a spectrum of healthy and unhealthy as parents. None of us are entirely healthy 100 percent of the time, so we will have some mix of healthy and unhealthy behaviors throughout our parenting. Keep in mind that fixating on how your children will remember you is fruitless and often leads to more trouble than it fixes.
What will help your children is to see you trying, fixing your eyes on Jesus, and being quick to apologize and grow. Your children ultimately want healthy parents, and working on your health is just as much for them as is it is for you.”
Warmly,
Alison
